Who the hell do I think I am?

Hello! My name is DadBodEatsUK a.k.a Matthew Karslake. I am a foodie on a mission (does it get any more cliched?) But, this is a slighlty different mission to most. I want to bridge the gap between eating in and eating out! Tasting great meals and using them to inspire me, and hopefully, you!

A recent graduate from Liverpool University, I have decided to stay in Liverpool with my girlfriend, Lucy. The aim of staying up here was to save up some money, but somehow it all seems to go on food. So, I thought I may as well make the most of it and write a flog for anyone who’s interested!

I am based in Liverpool so inevitably a fair bit of the content will be regarding the food scene here. However, I will also be writing about visits to restaurants across the country and (hopefully) around the world.

As well as trying the best food I can find, I hope to post ideas on stuff that you can make at home. These will mainly be simple, healthy(ish) and most importantly, super tasty! My ethos is that, if you cook at home from scratch regularly, you can afford to add some more indulgent ingredients. Cook with butter, olive oil, salt and other delicious things – it’s a hell of a lot better than getting ready meals 3 nights a week! But then what do I know? After all, there must be a reason that I have a #dadbod in my twenties.
